Über uns
Die Handballregion Hannover-Weser-Leine e.V. (HR HWL) ging am 6. September 2020 aus den Vereinen der bisherigen Handballregionen Hannover und Weser-Schaumburg-Leine hervor. Ihr Tätigkeitsfeld umfasst die Region Hannover, sowie die Landkreise Hameln-Pyrmont, Hildesheim, Holzminden, Schaumburg und Nienburg. Die HR HWL ist die größte Region im Handball-Verband Niedersachsen mit ca. 800 am Spielbetrieb teilnehmenden Mannschaften aus 77 Vereinen. Neben der Organisation des Spielbetriebs gehören die Verwaltung des Schiedsrichterwesens, die Förderung von Talenten, sowie Maßnahmen zur Aus- und Fortbildung von Trainern zu ihren Hauptaufgaben. Die HR HWL ist als Verein beim Amtsgericht Hannover eingetragen.
